Her directions were the easiest to follow, I’m not even kidding. I will use my handy loom for so many projects I want to make, because there’s no counting stitches, or remembering the patterns. Just loop and go!
I opted to use 18 of my 24 pegs (I used the hot pink rectangle loom), and Caron’s One Pound yarn in Off White. I always have anxiety about how many skeins of yarn to get, so I figured the pounder would be safe (and it was, I’ve got a teeny bit leftover).
She used two strands of yarn, and I ended up doing the same, but attempted a few rows with just one, simply so I could get the feel and concept of what I was going to end up with. If I use a chunky yarn, I’d probably do just the one, but I really love the look and fluff of two thinner pieces.
I finished this scarf in a few hours, closed my ends together with a flat seam, and added a little fabric flower on a safety pin for extra cuteness.
Totally love. Will make more. In every. Single. Color.
I love to wear it doubled up…
Or down low…
